A 3D Printer with a build volume of at least 220mmx220mmx250mm is required for all of our models. Below are a few recommendations in case you do not already have a printer or are interested in purchasing a new one.
This Printer is very similar to the Ender 3 V2, but it has a lot of upgrades including a Direct Drive extruder, which improves filament delivery allowing for better quality.
This is a Larger scale printer at 300mm x 300mm x 400mm bed size. It has a stable 90 degree triangle frame with a direct drive extruder, this gives it the ability to have large, but high quality prints. (Less recommended for beginners.)
Filaments
Every Plane designed here is meant to be flown using new Lightweight highly printable Filaments.
Although every plane will be printable using normal PLA, these models are all designed with 65% density LW filaments in mind. Polymaker PolyLite LW PLA is a revolutionary material that is very light and rigid while being easy-to-print.
Radio Control Transmitter
The Transmitter is an essential part of any RC plane, choosing a reliable one is very important.
The TX-16S is a very reliable yet affordable transmitter. Highly customizable and modular, it supports many different modules that allow you to upgrade it over time.
